In Slovenia started the 2.1 stage race Tour de Slovenie. The first stage was very successful for ISD team. It took the participants about six and a half hours to pass 229 km from Koper to Beljak. On this way they had to deal with the difficult landscape, mountainous roads, climb to 1611 m, the sleep slope and straight away another steep rise.

In Greece was held the fifth stage of the mountain bike series Outsports Cup. This time riders went to the picturesque city of Kalavrita, situated in the mountainous part of Ahaia, on the hill of the famous mountain Helmos. This town lies 180 kilometers away from Athens, 14 kilometers away from the ski resorts and just few kilometers from the beaches of the Northern Peloponesse.

These days two teammates and friends from SC ISD are celebrating their birthdays. With one day difference ere born Maksim Polishchuk and Vitaliy Popkov.Maksim Polishchuk, the rider, who is defending the colours of our sports club and of the Ukrainian national team for any years, turned 25 years old yesterday.

Our website have already informed about the successful performance of the Donetsk rider from SC ISD Igor Bogdan, who won the third place at the international mountain bike race in Austria ASVO Osterreich Grand Prix – Windhaad bei Perg. Besides that the student of Viktor Melnik won 30 UCI points, which is the biggest achievement of this sportsman in this season till now.

In Poland have finished the international race memorial of the USSR Hero Vasiliy Skopenko. ISD-Sport-Donetsk representatives showed the good results. After six stages Egor Dementiev finished second in the general classification. In the team classification our collective repeated the result of the last year, finishing on the third place.

In the Russian capital was held the mountain bike race 1XCO Velomarket CSKA Cup. Three Ukrainians, representing the ISD Cycling Team, participated in this event. On of the most experienced Donetsk riders Aleksandr Gerashchenko together with Evgeniy Medvetskiy and Sergey Rysenko were fighting for the victory with the hosts of this race from Russia.

Ukrainian-Italian cycling team ISD is going to have the busy schedule. Our riders will be participating in three starts. First they will go to Slovenia amd Italy and then will come back to their home-countries to participate in the national championships.From the 18th to the 21st of June ISD goes to Tour of Slovenia (category 2.

Today, on the 12th of June in Vienna take place the negotiations of the professional Pro continental ISD team managers from Italy and Ukraine. Ukrainian side is represented by the Deputy Director General of the "Industrial Union of Donbass" corporation, general manager of the ISD cycling team, the President of the SC ISD Vitaliy Kovalchuk and the Director of the SC ISD and manager of the ISD team Mark Beygelzimer.

On the 13th of June in Moscow will be held the mountain bike race Velomarket CSKA Cup. In this event will be participating Sergey Rysenko, Aleksandr Gerashchenko and Evgeniy Medvetskiy, representing our ISD Cycling Team. They went to the Russian capital together with the team manager Kirill Pospeev.

Italian rider Mirco Pirazzoli, defending the colours of the Donetsk mountain bike team ISD Cycling Team, took part in the Italian race MTB Alpago Trophy. Pirazzolli finished on the 16th place among 51 rider. Together with the ISD Cyclign Team the riders from Italy, Columbia, France, Austria, Russia, Argentina and Slovenia entered the course.

Italian Emmanuele Vona and Ukrainian Ruslan Podgorny were the best among the ISD riders at the 69th edition of Tour de Luxembourg. Emmanuele finished on the 8th place in the final classification, Ruslan was 15th. The last two stages were the most successful for the ISD representatives. This let Ukrainian-Italian collective to finish on the 5th place in the team classification.

Olympic champion of Sydney-2000 and the member of the sports club ISD Nikolay Milchev again confirmed his class at the high level competitions after making 146 points out of 150 possible. Ukrainian sportsman was fighting for the first place at the 3rd stage of the World Cup, held in Minsk, and at the end was third.

The leader of the ISD team Giovanni Visconti was just a moment away from the victory at the one-day race in Italy. Italian was second to cross the finish line of the 6th edition of Pantani Memorial (category 1.1). Giovanni Visconti was fighting till the very end at the 183.7 km-long course and lost only against Roberto Ferrari from LPR  Brakes Farnese Vini.

Donetsk rider, representing the SC ISD Igor Bogdan participated in the international mountain bike competitions in Austria. 28-year-old sportsman finished ASVO Osterreich Grand Prix – Windhaad bei Perg on the third place. Donetsk rider, who is a student of SC ISD specialist Viktor Melnik, was the only Ukrainian representative among 38 participants of this event, held on the 7th of June.

It looks like there is a leader in ISD team at the Tour de Luxembourg. After the third stage Emmanuele Vona holds the best result in our team, finishing on the 7th place in the group of 8 riders, who arrived together with the leader Andy Schlok. Italian leader of ISD earned 5 points at this stage and at the moment occupies the 17th position in the classification by points.
